Football Agent Prevails in Fee Dispute
GSA successfully represented football agent Suzana Zoran's right to payment from a club before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). The CAS Panel ordered MFK Ruzomberok to pay Ms. Zoran the full amount she was owed plus all her costs and fees associated with the case.
National Olympic Committee Decision Upheld
GSA successfully represented the National Olympic and Sports Committee (NOSC) of Moldova when a member federation challenged its suspension at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). The CAS Panel found there was just cause to issue the suspension.
Cleared to Compete at Olympic Games
GSA successfully represented Russian Darya Klishina at the 2016 Rio Olympics enabling her to compete as the only Russian track and field athlete. GSA convinced a Panel of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) Ad Hoc Division that Klishina was clean and eligible under the governing rules of the international track and field federation.
"No Fault" for Track and Field Gold Medalist
GSA successfully represented U.S. Olympic track and field gold medalist Gil Roberts, who faced a 2-year ban, in his anti-doping case before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). GSA proved a contaminated kiss with Roberts' girlfriend caused his positive test. The "No Fault" allowed Roberts to immediately resume his career.
Footballer Wins CAS Appeal
GSA successfully represented Croatian footballer Arijan Ademi, who faced a 4-year ban, at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in a case brought by UEFA. GSA proved that Ademi's positive test was unintentional and that a 50% reduction to 2 years was warranted in Ademi's unique circumstances, saving his career.
GSA successfully represented Jamaican Kaliese Spencer against charges that she evaded an anti-doping test. GSA proved the Commonwealth Games gold medalist's innocence during a 2-day proceeding before a Jamaican Anti-Doping Panel, which found that Spencer was innocent and entitled to full vindication.
